Vancouver House - The Neo-futurism

Product Details
This is a composite image of Vancouver House in downtown Vancouver, British Columbia.

The Vancouver skyline is undergoing an aesthetic transformation and Vancouver House is represents a new and burgeoning era of bold new architecture. Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) out of Denmark designed the structure which started in 2016 and was completed in 2020. Mr. Ingles acknowledged this image on social media when it was posted in July of 2020.

Multiple exposures were taken of the streets around the tower then multiple images stitched together vertically. By design, the building already looks to be twisting as it moves up the landscape so it was important to me to keep all other angles in proper perspective. Challenging for a vertical panorama when you’re this close to the structure but it gives the subject more impact.

Image is hand signed and printed on Epson Legacy Platine, archival 100% cotton fibre paper.

NOTE: This is a vertical panorama and therefore does not have a common aspect ratio.

Image is not framed.
